Course description

Being a great coach or Scrum Master requires excellent facilitation skills. In this class, you will experience (not just learn theory) facilitating and running effective meetings and conversations. You will learn the essentials of the necessary human dynamics needed for effective collaboration as well as a number of concrete facilitation tools and techniques and when to use them. Attend this class to enhance your ability to guide an agile team towards successful self-organization.

Target audience

Agile team leaders or aspiring team leaders with a passion for servant leadership and a desire to learn and practice the art of facilitation in the context of team facilitation and coaching. Relevant roles include ScrumMasters, Agile Project Managers, Agile Coaches and aspiring coaches, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and anyone with the desire to explore the power of facilitation.

Khalid Rabie is a distinguished Business Transformation Consultant and Trainer with over 20
years of experience spanning diverse markets and organizational roles. Holding a post graduate
Certification from Harvard Business School specializing in Leadership and Strategy, Khalid
leverages his multi-cultural background and extensive global experience to drive transformative
change in organizational cultures.
His expertise lies in coaching executives, leaders, and cross functional teams to adopt industry
best practices and innovate operational models, fostering continuous improvement across
industries. Khalid is renowned for developing Digital Innovation and Culture Maturity Model
Engines, which empower organizations to seamlessly transition from Profit to Purpose and
Purpose to Profit, adapting to the dynamic nature of modern business environments. He
Currently holds the Position of Head of Business Consultancy at VIDSCOLA DWC.
Khalid’s global perspective and broad exposure have afforded him the opportunity to collaborate
with a prestigious roster of clients, including PMI, STC, Orange Business, Philips, Heineken,
BASF, NTIS, Banque Misr, ROSHN, Commercial International Bank, VOIS, and Japan Tobacco

L&D consultant at ESLSCA Paris University, specializing in higher education and digital

Mahmoud Ghoz

Mahmoud is an agile practitioner who has a sum of 20 years of experience coaching and delivering complex IT, web and mobile projects with multiple technologies; out of which, he has been practicing Lean and agile techniques for more than 10 years to transform teams and help them scale the right way in different fast-growing local and multinational companies.
Ghoz is a self-motivated agile practitioner who can see the complete value stream throughout the product life cycle. Being eager to transform teams and organizations to adopt the agility mindset, he has pursued professional accreditation from Scrum Alliance, the most well-known agile professionals community worldwide. In addition, Ghoz is a certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner “CSaSP”, Scrum Developer “CSD” and Product Owner “CSPO”.
On the other hand, Ghoz is an Authorized Instructor from ICAgile, Certified SAFe Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, and Authorized Kanban Trainer from Kanban University.
