Course description

This course is focusing on planning and dimensioning concepts of the 3G mobile networks. The complexity of 3G network planning is tackled through this course, starting with understanding the interdependency between both coverage and capacity in the 3G system, ending with demonstrating Node-Bs detailed designs, passing by dimensioning flow, coverage and capacity dimensioning and monte-carlo simulation.
