Today’s fast-evolving digital and business landscape, the ability to deliver value rapidly, adapt to change, and foster empowered teams is essential. The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) workshop is a two-day program designed to equip professionals with both the mindset and the practical skills to lead Agile teams and initiatives with confidence and impact.
Grounded in real-world application, this workshop offers more than just theoretical understanding, it provides immersive, high-energy simulations and guided exploration of the Scrum framework. Participants will not only learn the how of Scrum, but deeply understand the why, its roots, philosophy, and the challenges it was designed to solve in complex, uncertain environments. By the end of the program, participants will be eligible to earn the globally recognized Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) credential, awarded by Scrum Alliance, the world’s most established and respected certifying body for Agile professionals. More importantly, they will walk away with the clarity and confidence to apply Scrum in diverse project situations, lead high-performing teams, and contribute meaningfully to Agile transformation journeys within their organizations.
Whether you’re a new practitioner or someone seeking to refresh and formalize your Agile knowledge, this program is an essential step toward becoming a true enabler of business agility.
This Program is positioned at the Foundational to Intermediate level, making it suitable for:
Beginners with little or no prior Agile experience, looking for a structured and accredited entry point into Scrum and Agile practices.
Practicing professionals who have informal exposure to Scrum and now seek formal certification and deeper application-focused learning.
Team leaders and managers looking to enable Agile delivery and foster team performance through Scrum best practices.
There are no prerequisites required to attend the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) program or to sit for the certification exam. However, to ensure participants gain maximum value from the workshop, the following recommended experience and preparation are advised:
Basic understanding of Agile principles and practices: prior exposure to Agile project environments or frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) is helpful but not mandatory.
Familiarity with software development or project delivery concepts: especially beneficial for participants coming from technical, product, or project roles.
Pre-course reading: participants are encouraged to review the Agile Manifesto and basic Scrum Guide prior to the workshop (materials and links will be shared upon enrollment).
Understand the foundational principles of Scrum and its values.
Experience Scrum through high-energy simulations and group activities.
Learn how to identify project problems that can be effectively solved using Scrum.
Explore the organizational and cultural shifts needed to adopt Scrum successfully.
Analyze how Scrum interfaces with other Agile methodologies such as XP, DevOps, Lean, and Kanban.
Develop insights into motivation, coaching, stakeholder collaboration, risk management, and leading organizational change.
